In order to better assess how medical
guidelines and clinical pathways are followed in the real world practice and to
improve the chronic disease care in China, CMDA and VSRI have decided to jointly
design and facilitate the “China National Disease Registry” (CNDR). The round
table meeting is to introduce the goal, structure, and the potential values of
CNDR to patients, physicians, industry, and government, and to discuss how
healthcare industry could capitalize on this platform thereby more efficiently
conducting product, disease, or procedure based registries.
