A Study of China Cardiometabolic Registries (CCMR)

This is a non-interventional, prospective,  and longitudinal cohort study designed to assess the incidence of cardiovascular events occurred within an 12 month follow up period and the current treatment patterns in type II diabetic patients with either high risk factors of CVD or prior/existing CVD. The study is sponsored by Roche Pharmaceutical Development Center in Asia/Pacific. Approximately 1000 patients will be enrolled from about 20 hospitals across major cities in China, starting from January 2010. The study is coordinated by VSRI.
