1. China National Disease Registry (CNDR)
VSRI and CMDA have just announced the establishment of CNDR. This national registry system is established with the following objectives:
Continuously assess gaps between the guideline and real world practice
Systemically assess optimal therapeutic pathways and clinical outcomes
Enhance the use of hospital electronic medical record systems
Improve the quality and efficiency of patient care
Enhance the surveillance and values of medical advancement
The Evidence Based Medicine Research Center (EBM Research Center) was established as a collaboration between the School of Public Health, Fudan University and VitalStrategic Research Institute. The objectives of the EBM research center are several folds and include the following:
Enhance research in epidemiology, evidence based medicine, and inter-correlation of public health and clinical science, with internationally recognized medical leadership and high standard and quality
Strengthen the alliance between research center, hospital, industry, and patient community, aiming to maximizing the values of medical advancement though extensive outcomes research and better understanding ofimpact of ethnic difference and pharmacoeconomics
Stimulate scientific exchange with international communities, aiming to help the rest of the world better understand the research and development in China
